correct size vista beta 2 iso file

Correct size of Vista Beta 2 .iso file please

I have downloaded the Vista beta 2 .iso file but experienced a lot of difficulty with the server i was using. I was sitting on a 99.99% download since Saturday but the support people at my Download Manager just told me the server is fixed and I now have a completed 100% download and I am wondering whether it is worth burning to dvd. Thanks in advance.

You may also want to verify the downloaded .iso file. This is a great web site with very useful information:

English, 32-bit (x86): 3,355,598,848 bytes
But even though your ISO may have the correct filesize, the image might still be corrupt (as mine was initially). You'd better run a MD5 verifier, the correct MD5 for the x86 ISO is 0E733AB1A8E8FF9A8684FD3639332773
For example, you could use Nero's MD5 Verifier - get it at http://ww2.nero.com/enu/Nero_MD5_Verifier.html

many thanks Brian, but we are talking about the same file I presume..? My file is: vista_5384.4.060518-1455_winmain_beta2_x86fre_client-LB2CFRE_EN_DVD.iso

If you scroll down the page at the link I suggested, you may find:
"3 Verify the download You may have the downloaded ISO, but is it actually the right one? It's recommended that you download the ISO directly from Microsoft, as if it isn't then it could have been manipulated. To verify that the ISO is the correct one, download the FileCheckMD5 checker (courtesy of Brandon Staggs) and verify the ISO against these numbers below. If the ISO you have is different from the numbers below, redownload as it could end up causing your system harm. Windows Vista Ultimate (Beta 2 - 32-bit) File Size 3.12 GB (3,355,598,848 bytes) CRC Value 0x67E089E0 MD5 Value 0E733AB1A8E8FF9A8684FD3639332773 Windows Vista Ultimate (Beta 2 - 64-bit) File Size 4.01 GB (4,309,368,832 bytes) CRC Value 0x48697711 MD5 Value E43502D0A15EADD551119D5639859E04
Thanks to Andre da Costa for this information"
Much thanks to Zack for all his effort!

That's the same one. So if you have Nero's MD5 Verifier check your ISO against the MD5 I supplied you, you can verify if your ISO is corrupt (or not). If your MD5 matches my MD5, you've got a valid ISO. If not, you'll need to redownload the ISO.

Ahh.. now here is the interesting part Brian.. if you go to http://www.filemirrors.com/search.src?file=dvd&type=contains you will see the exact same file listed as 3276.95mb, coincidently my own file being 3276952KB.
...which leaves me precisely looking for the 2KB lol and instead coming up with your 3,355,598,848 bytes
Any ideas?
